The title says it all. I need a riddle where the answer is either “children”/”fiction” and a riddle about “Charlotte’s Web”. We are hiding a spider in our drama class in the children’s section of the library behind Charlotte’s Web and whoever finds it gets tickets to the show. And that’s why I need riddles!

Answer by :p
I’m quite a show
And people know;
Spinning threads
For capture of heads.
My limbs are many,
But I may be less than a penny.
One prick of me,
And in pain you will be.
I may fly and float as a baby,
And I swing when I’m older, maybe.
I can live in dark,
And have homes of bark.
I peel and fight,
Some people eat me in a bite.
What am I? A spider.
All I could find.

Question: OMG,What in the world was the moral of the story about “Pulp fiction”?
Ok,WIERD……..What the heck was the moral of that story. What was in the briefcase and why and how….????
Answer:
Answer by Super Hobo Hillbilly
I think the moral was that the gangster lifestyle is not the right lifestyle to be in because it’s nothing but bad news. As far as the case is concerned, the rumor is that it contained either gold or Marcellus’s soul.
Question: does anyone know a song about a couch?
i know this might sound weird but does someone know a song about a couch, or like any quote or cute saying about a couch (yeah, thats the thing you sit on in your living room)??
well, can you at least make up one if you don’t know any?? Because I’m almost sure that there are no songs or quotes and stuff about couches=(
please))
Im just obsessed with couches and people just call me their personal pet couch that says “tip-tip-tip” (that’s my couch language). btw, I’m totally normal, I just say that for fun and nobody else in my school is a couch, especially a personal pet couch.
So if you make a song or anything ( it would be best if it would be a song and not something else, but i guess if you cant write a song than everything else would do) than please have *tip-tip-tip* in it
please answer)) this would meen SO much to me))
thanx)
oh and it should be cute and funny^.^

Question: what can i do about a nail salon ripping me off?
ive been going to a nail salon for about 6 or 7 years. well lately ive been getting clear see Thur nails and they paint the tips with a clear glitter its very pretty and i always get compliments on my nails always. well lately they have been charging me different prices.one week its 28 the next time the owner charges me 23 then this last time they charged me 30. wtf!!! i don’t mind paying 30 if it was the same all the time but its not. so this last time i asked why is it 30 last time owner charged me 23 then the owners wife told me” well you pay more cause you get tips painted like white tips” i told her i know i always get nails this way and its never 30 .then its like they ignored me so i told my nail tech that i wasn’t going to pay the 30 i threw a 20 and told him not to even worry about painting my nails i was still gonna have to go and fix my nails and i left. it pissed me off because the whole time the owner acted dumb and didn’t even say anything.so now i have to find another nail salon.only this time i wanna ask the salon to give me one price that i will always pay. i always get the clear see Thur nails and i always go mon-wed the discount days. is there anywhere i can go to complain about them and can i get the new salon to write down on a Business card what i will pay from now on

Question: To my fellow Atheists: Does all the hype about Nostradamus….?
Does all the latest TV programing about Nostradamus’ “lost” drawings and writings cause as much concern to you as to me?
I don’t know how many times I have turned on the TV only to find some pseudo-scientist trying desperately to correlate these “lost” items with all the other apocalyptic visionaries’ dooms dates. (What a mouthful!) Needless to say, 2012 is the favored date.
Now, I usually watch Discovery, Science, History, and other “non-fiction” channels. But, I can’t help think they are giving in to the sensational nature of such programming.
Do you think all the hype is adding fuel to the Christians’ fire who are predicting the end of the world in the near future? Is it legitimizing their claims? The thought sickens me.
Hey! I’m NOT believing all that baloney!!! Never have! I’m just trying to see if anyone is sick of hearing about it all the time. So far, there are just a few appropriate answers. I’m an atheist. I don’t believe in magical thinking. What don’t you understand about that? (rolling my eyeballs and getting a bit irritated)
If it seems like I’m making a big deal about this, then you don’t know me.

Question: What`s your idea about the scientific fiction “The Last Theorem” by Sir Aurther C Cleark?
Did u read this facinating scientific fiction wrote in a Sri Lankan background? , And what is your ideas about this book & charactors?
Answer:
Answer by redunicorn
Arthur C. Clarke and Frederick Pohl wrote the book. It wasn’t as interesting as Clarke or Pohl’s other books. I like both authors. Frederick Pohl lives not that far from me so I have met him many times. I have to admit, I never finished the book.
from Bookmarks
“Despite the unparalleled reputation of its authors, no critic was very impressed by The Last Theorem. All of its major ideas and themes, one reviewer pointed out, have been more ably explored by Clarke and Pohl in other novels (see Clarke’s 2001: A Space Odyssey, Rendezvous with Rama, and The Fountains of Paradise, for example). Add herky-jerky pacing, inexplicable changes in characters’ behaviors, and a cartoonish American villain, and The Last Theorem seems to deserve its nearly universal criticism. On the other hand, at least one reviewer found a way to appreciate the book: as an insight into Clarke’s famously private inner life. In its descriptions of Sri Lanka (the author’s home for more than 50 years) and his protagonist’s uncertain sexual orientation, The Last Theorem may help readers learn something new about Clarke, if not the strength of his talents.”
Question: What is Flannery O’Connor talking about when she’s talking about the “grotesque” in southern fiction?
I’m not sure what she means, it’s a little deep for me to understand. Does she compare it to “regular” grotesque?
“grotesque” (in general) vs “grotesque in souther fiction”, if this makes any sense. I guess I’m not really sure what she’s talking about when she’s talking about the grotesque in southern fiction.
