Writing articles and submitting them to a worldwide audience online can be very exciting in the beginning.

You start out with great ideas. Youâ??re motivated. Youâ??re inspired. Youâ??re ready, willing and able to educate audiences worldwide. Youâ??re psyched to start building your list with targeted leads so you can make more money online selling your books, products and services.

But, after a while, you run out of steam.

You find yourself sitting at your computer with your eyes in a blank stare and your fingers ready at the keyboard. But theyâ??re not typing.

Youâ??re stumped!

The muse isnâ??t so amused anymore. You start hunting for things to write about. And, when you finally get yourself together and try to write an article, it doesnâ??t flow. There is not much to say. Things are awkward. You donâ??t know how to begin and how to end.

So where do you turn when your idea arsenal is running low?

Here Are 5 Ways to Eliminate Writerâ??s Block So You Can Write Articles Fast to Build Traffic, Leads and Profits:

1. Uncover the Hidden Source of Story Ideas with Surveys

Marketing professionals have turned towards web surveys to do research, plan projects, get feedback, develop new products and services, and create public relations and marketing opportunities. So why arenâ??t you using surveys to drum up ideas for articles. Surveys are hidden sources of story ideas, providing rich, timely, interesting and intriguing information that you can use in your own articles.

2. Go Blog Hopping

Weâ??re all guilty of doing reading blogs from our blogroll on a regular basis. We canâ??t avoid it, even if we wanted to. However, the next time you blog hop, read your favorite blogs with the purpose of finding ideas to write articles about and ask yourself:

â?¢ What are bloggers and their readers interested in at the moment?

â?¢ What is the most popular topic that people blog about?

â?¢ Do I want to write about it too and create an article around that topic?

3. Use Your Own Blog as a Content Source

Your very own blog can become your best friend when it comes to writing articles. Your blog is a tool that will help you analyze what your audience is interested in. Review your blog posting archives. Find out which postings received the greatest number of reader comments â?? both positive and negative. Figure out which postings got the most views. Now you know exactly what your audience wants to know. So give them what they want, by writing articles based on your most popular topics..

4. Explore Article Directories

Article directories like EzineArticles.com are gold mines of ideas for article writers. Read articles written for your target audience to obtain ideas, but never plagiarize the actual articles.

The best article directories list the most popular or newest articles. Use this as your starting point. Then add your own ideas and experiences to develop the article ideas.

5. Relax Your Mind & Enjoy It All

By turning article writing into a burdensome, repetitive task, you will pay for it in stilted prose and cliché ideas. You must learn to relax and enjoy educating the World as you establish credibility, build link popularity and increase traffic, leads and sales.

A relaxed mind is an open mind. And an open mind is prepared to accept new and creative ideas for your article writing and marketing efforts.

Every single day I remind myself to enjoy the craft no matter whatâ?? and Iâ??m the article marketing expert. I know if I donâ??t remind myself to relax and enjoy writing articles to educate authors, experts, marketing professionals and business owners just like you, I would not be able to write articles on a daily basis.

I write articles for article submission. I write articles for my blog. I write articles to be posted on ArticleMarketingExperts.com. I write articles for the PR LEADS Article Markets Secrets & Breakthroughs Newsletter.

And, guess what?

I never ever run out of ideas, and you wonâ??t either if you relax your mind, enjoy the art and follow the strategies, I described in this article.

Have you written articles on your industry before? Article writing is not hard as long as you stick one topic and develop ideas based upon the topic. If you do not want to write an article, you can always to ask someone to write it for you; however, you have to pay for them to write and a little expensive. So why not write an article if you have some ideas what to write for. In this article, I would like to share with you some blueprints for writing an article.

Your article should be between 400 and 600 words and include an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. As you may know, the introduction contains your main idea which calls “thesis statement”, and a brief summary of your topic. This is the most important task to write an article because it explains what you are going to write about. You can begin with the general and narrow down to specifically in your introduction. Once you have the main idea, you can start writing body paragraphs related to your main idea.

The body paragraphs have to explain, describe, and argue about your main ideas depend upon your writing style. For example, if you have 4 ideas related to your topic, you have 4 body paragraphs and support the each idea. Make sure you stick with one idea in each paragraph and narrow down the idea so that you do not develop an another idea. This way the readers are easy to follow your ideas. Once you got the body paragraphs, now you can wrap up with the conclusion.

The conclusion, you can repeat your main idea or explain why your article is important and significant for your readers. Also, you may want to give the readers reasons to lead your bio and to click your link . So that you do not lose your readers who just read your article and go on the next articles. Make sure that you encourage the readers to see your bio and click your link.

Once you finish writing an article, you need to proofreading ,and make sure that you do not have any grammar and spell mistakes and stick with once idea. I would like to suggest that you just follow the above guidelines and try to write the first article. Once you write 2~3 articles, you can get some ideas how to write articles. Just stick with one point and develop more ideas based upon your main point.

There are a few things that you can do in order to ensure that the article directories will approve your article.

Proofread – Even the most talented writers make mistakes. I find typos in just about every article I write but I proofread every one before submitting. Many article directories will deny your article if it contains misspelled words or improperly composed phrases. It is a good idea to write your article in a word processor such as Word and utilize the spell check feature.

Minimal Links – Some directories allow you to insert links into main keywords of the article body. This is ok as long as you do not insert too many. When publishers are searching for articles to post on their site or e-zine the number of outgoing links is one of the things they look for. They may find an article they really like but they will not publish it if there are a lot of links in the body. It is best to just utilize the signature block, authors area of the article to insert the link to your site.

Advertising – Most article directories will not approve your article if you blatantly advertise your site or service. If you think it could be perceived as personal advertising then do not do it. This includes placing your web site link in the body of the article.

Hard line breaks – These were acceptable in the past but not anymore. You may find a directory that accepts this but it is unlikely. A hard line break occurs when you have one or two line sentences. Authors want to do this because it is supposed to be more readable and the reader is more opt to read the entire article. The reason this is not acceptable anymore is because it just looks bad and unprofessional. To play it safe, write your paragraphs with at least three lines per paragraph.

Indenting – We are not in school anymore so do not indent. Although indenting paragraphs is known to be the standard for most magazine articles etcetera, it is not the standard for article directories. Just start your articles at the far left just like this article.

Above are just a few tips you can use in order to get your articles approved so publishers can post your article and links on their site. If you follow these guidelines you cannot go wrong with most article directories. You may run into some directories that allow some things I frown on but for the most part article directories go by these guidelines.

These days a highly informative article can bring tremendous amount of traffic to a website. In fact article marketing is becoming a hot choice for promoting any type of site today. Not only this, great articles keep visitors on your site for a long time, as they read your articles and keep coming back for more.

But the tough part of the story is the number of people who follow through on this technique. Many people quit before they get started, thinking that it is too tough. But anyone can have a successful article writing career if they just stick to a few simple rules. Following are some important guidelines to help you reach your article marketing goals.

Generally, many new authors write in a hap-hazard style. This technique tends to distract your readers and causes them to ignore your other articles. To prevent this, begin each article with a good outline. Stay on track and develop a good organized style of writing.

Don’t try to impress your readers with big words or fancy language. This is a sure way to turn off readers. Write it as you would say it.

Another important factor is your choice of topics. Don’t select subjects that no one is interested in. Your article on ‘Himalayan Mountain Plants’ may have been fun to research, but not many people really care about it and even fewer will read it

The number one reason that people will read (or pass by) your article is your title. An interesting and compelling title will generate many more readers than a boring title. Spend some time developing a good title and your readership will soar.

It is also important to specialize. By writing all of your articles on one broad subject, you will come to be known as an expert in that area. When people feel that you are an expert, they will seek out your articles and click on your links. This is an important factor in the future success of your business.

Writing online articles using the tips above will help you generate more money and provide your site with valuable back links and traffic. Get started right away and make some money!

Information, much of it in the form of written content, is what drives the Internet. As a result, article writing is extremely important to Internet entrepreneurs who wish to succeed. But sometimes circumstances arise when the articles just aren’t coming.

Writer’s block happens to the best of us. I have cases of it all the time. I’ll be sitting at my keyboard, staring into a blank screen, just hoping that a decent thought will jump into my head and I can start typing again. One minute goes by, then two, then ten, and nothing happens. Drat!

If this has ever happened to you, you know how frustrating it can be. In my personal experience, writer’s block usually occurs when I have not adequately prepared myself to write at the particular time at which I’m trying to write. What I mean is, I have ideas for articles all the time. Unfortunately, they usually show up when I’m in the shower, driving down the highway, in the middle of trying to complete ten other things when something just “pops into my head”, or lying in bed at 3:00am. But, when it’s time to recapture my thoughts, when I’m sitting down and ready to write, nothing.

If this sounds familiar, if you’re in a bit of a slump, or can’t seem to get or hold onto a decent article writing idea, here are some tips:

1) If you get ideas frequently, but can’t seem to recall them when you need them, “sticky notes” and a small notepad work wonders.

I know, it seems ridiculously simple. No rocket science here, but I’m telling you if you’ve never tried this, it works. The problem is not that you don’t have ideas that can be transformed into great articles. The problem is that you’re not capturing the ideas you have.

Keeping small notepads (we don’t want to create clutter, because clutter disrupts our ability to think and act clearly; a subject for yet another article) around the house, in the car, on your desks or anywhere else you tend to frequent, helps you to record important or creative ideas as soon as you get them (or soon thereafter). By taking time to “jot down” your thoughts as they come, you create a means of saving them; a record and a resource. Then, when you’re in a position to do something with the ideas, or when your “well runs dry”, you have a great tool at your disposal. (Note: Using a personal voice recorder instead of a notepad, will work just as well.)

2) If getting ideas in the first place is your problem, here are three quick idea sources: current news (What’s going on that affects your niche?), industry news (What are the new/hot trends, what changes are occurring, what are people saying/doing?), and current problems or challenges your audience may face.

Each of these sources can be reviewed quickly without taking too much of your time or effort. They can each provide the “seeds” from which to generate interesting and helpful articles. In addition, don’t overlook the value of your own experience. Your challenges, successes and failures are likely very similar to those of other individuals who are involved and interested in the same things as are you. Often, just writing about a subject and offering readers a different perspective can provide a great deal of benefit to your audience.

3) My final tip…Don’t force it.

If you’re experiencing difficulty with your article writing, walk away. If you’re attempting to write an article and nothing is happening, STEP AWAY FROM YOUR COMPUTER (or paper or notepad).

Turn your attention elsewhere. Feed the cat, walk the dog, get some fresh air. Do something to break away from your writing. Engage yourself in activities that are completely different. Then return to your writing task with a refreshed mind and renewed energy. I believe you’ll find that you can write. If however, your “dry spell” lasts more than momentarily, my advice is still the same. Disengage, even for a period of a day or two if needed, and completely immerse yourself in other things. When you feel refreshed, come back to your writing and begin again.

Although there may be similarities in the actions of individuals involved in the task, article writing is somewhat different for everyone who does it. As writers, we all have different routines, different rituals, and different methodologies according to what works best for each of us. Invariably though, at some point or other, every writer comes to a point when their engine stalls.

The best advice is to keep yourself renewed and refreshed on a regular basis. Avoid getting so involved in your writing (or for you who are entrepreneurs, any of the other gazillion tasks you perform), that you exclude all else. This will help you to maintain a fresh perspective, and that “freshness” will certainly be reflected in your ability to write, as well as in the quality of your writing.

But when a difficult period does arise, be prepared. Have the tools in place to help you to get your article writing started and going again. Hopefully the tips included within this article will help you to do just that. Happy writing!

One of the best reasons to write is articles is that you can write articles on any topic. Whether you sell your own products and services, or someone elses, you can use articles to promote.

Although there are many ways to write an article, the easiest type of article to write is a tip sheet. Give a list of tips for a particular topic. Tips are popular because they’re easy to skim, and it makes it easier to read online.

If you’re an affiliate writing articles, you will need to make a few minor changes when writing your articles.

1. Create a basic website.

If you’re selling affiliate programs, you probably don’t have a website. If you’re not technically proficient, or you don’t know how to build a website, the easiest thing to do is build some type of blog or Squidoo lens. These are easy to build, and you can make them topical. You may also add other affiliate programs related to the topic. This allows you to create additional streams of income.

One of the biggest mistakes new affiliates can make is to market only one program. If that company goes out of business, the affiliate won’t have any other income coming in. These simple websites help you avoid that.

2. Use your product to create your tip sheets.

Good affiliates know their products. They buy them. They read them or use them depending on what type of product it is. By using the product you are selling, it allows you to gain a competitive advantage over other affiliates. You can give potential buyers a better taste of what the product does.

A good tip sheet tells things about what the product does in a generic way. Make sure that the product you are offering actually solves the problem you are writing about. Formulate several lists of bullet points so you can write several articles.

3. Read the guidelines for the article directory you plan to use.

Most, if not all, article directories have some type of guidelines for the type of articles they accept. Most won’t accept articles with affiliate links in the resource box, or articles with links in the body copy. Only general directories will accept just about every type of article. For example, don’t promote your internet marketing articles in a gardening directory.

4. Write more than one article per product you are promoting.

I mentioned this one earlier: creating multiple bullet points to draw tip sheets from.

If you’ve ever read anything about bum marketing, you know to write at least thirty articles. The more articles you have promoting a product or site, the more traffic you will get. Because some of your articles will succeed and some won’t, the more articles you have, the more traffic you will drive to the affiliate products.

5. Stick to about three different topics.

In his book, “How to Become a Recognized Authority in 60 Days or Less”, copywriter Robert Bly recommends developing three different specialties. This way, you have more than one area where you can make money. The other side of this is that you’re not stretched so thin writing on so many topics. Again, this allows you to develop multiple streams of income without putting too many eggs in one basket.
