I babysit alot. One of the newer kids I’ve just babysat has a mother that wants me to read the child stories. She suggested Historical Fiction, and mentioned Catherine Called Birdy. She didn’t know if it was an okay book, however. I have not read it yet. The child is 8. Please tell me if this book is okay for 6-8 year olds, and if not, why. Thanks. Also, suggestions are welcome.
