If you are in the world of copy writing, your greatest enemy is that thing called writers’ block. Being in the “writer’s block” mode really makes a writer unproductive. An article that could have been written in an hour can take three hours. If this doesn’t happen, a quickly written article turns out to be a sloppily written one.If you are a copy writer, here are some tips on how to quickly write quickly write compelling copies especially when you’re having writer’s block:
* Relax and take a deep breath.
Writer’s block is often caused by something else (other than the topic at hand) bothering you. If you’re having trouble writing a quick article, take time out and take a deep breath. Concentrate on your breathing. Focusing your on your breath exercises your mind to focus. It gives you fresh ideas too.
* Read up on past articles.
Past articles are fertile grounds for ideas on new articles. You can update a past article on a topic you are working on. Or you can spin off a whole article from a paragraph in a previous article. If the topic that you have is something you have not written before, then read up on other people’s articles. Innovate but do not plagiarize.
* Come up with spring boards for your articles like “Things To Do…” or “Things To Avoid…”.
Having a springboard for your content makes it a lot easier to write.
It gives you a clear-cut idea on the direction your content will take, regardless of the subject. If you’re writing something on fancy cars and then have to write something on Forex, writing those articles becomes easy.
For fancy cars, you might want to start your article with the title,” Things To Do Before Buying That Dream Car” or “Things To Avoid When Buying That Dream Car”. For Forex, you can revolve your article around these titles, “Things To Do Before Investing In Forex” or “Things To Avoid In Forex Investments.”
Of course, you can always come up with your own springboards. Be creative. You can write something around “The ABC’s of (subject).”
* Plan your content.
Try not to see your articles piecemeal by piecemeal. Rather, work out a theme for your subject. Say, for example, you are writing a series of articles on Southeast Asian countries, you might want to revolve your articles around each country’s signature dishes, most viable business opportunities, etc.
* Get inside the head of your reader.
Good writers are always writing for a specific audience with very real concerns. If you are stumped and don’t quite know what you can write about on a particular subject, put yourself in the mind of your reader. What topics would be most interesting to him or her? If you’re writing about writing as a profession, you might want to write something about the most profitable markets for genuine writing talent.
The tips mentioned above should show you how to generate great copy even when you feel half-alive with writer’s block.

Ebook writing needs you to clarify who your audience is, what they are likely to be looking for, what your ebook is guiding them to do and convert them to carry out the action. For instance, an immigration lawyer who is guiding the reader to use his services may write an ebook that gives the reader a highlight of the legal implications of a few cases. Once the reader’s interest is raised, the website is available for the customer to start up a communication with the lawyer.
1. Know What Your Audience Wants
You want to attract attention to your ebook writing efforts by saying enough to direct the reader to want to know more. What are the most common questions that come up in the mind of your potential audience? Allow your ebook to answer these questions partially so that the customer gets interested in your services.
2. Make Salient Points
What are the main points of information that you are willing to share? You do not want to provide enough information in your ebook writing to enable the reader to function independently without buying any more products from you. What are the important aspects that are on the reader’s mind when browsing the net on the subject of your ebook?
3. Starting A Conversation
Provide your contact details, email id, office address and fax number. Make it possible for a potential customer to start a conversation without having to search for your details. If you are directing potential attention to your website, ensure that your website is well designed with information regarding the services that you offer.
