It’s been a while since I saw the film, but it could be that Harold (I think that is his name) may or may not have a destiny that is in the hands of the Emma Thompson character. It is as if he is going in a circle, with no beginning or end. The only way he will have an “end” is if the writer chooses to kill him off.
Question: Could someone recommend me any books that would be considered “boxing fiction”?

Try the short stories of F.X. Toole. I got the collection when I was bargain hunting for books- it has his famous short stories, based on his time working in the boxing world. This includes “Million Dollar Baby,” which is what the movie is based off of. It’s really good.
The short stories are in a collection titled “Rope Burns.”
Toole also wrote a novel titled “Pound for Pound.” Try purchasing that one, too.
Question: My “fiction” professor says the time period in “To Kill a Mocking Bird” could be anytime. True?
I think he is wrong. It sound to me like the depression to me which would be about the same time the author was the narrator’s age.
What do you think?
Women could vote in 1919. Obviously women then could vote in the 40′s.

I hereby challenge you to write a short page of diary about a premise popped out in a Y!A question. The premise is:
“One day every woman on Earth find herself unable to speak and hear. Generations pass, no cure is found, a woman born deaf after centuries since the last hearing woman died writes a page of her diary”
May the best win
