I am finishing up my BA in English and I am interested in pursuing an MFA in Creative Writing, specifically oriented towards writing fiction, not poetry. An online university would best suit my schedule, but I am unfamiliar with any that offer such a program. Any ideas?
I already have a college degree so I don’t need the credit. I don’t want to pay a ton of money for it, but I do want an actual class with actual assignments. And that’s creative writing as in FICTION. Thanks for your help. A class on the Northside would be great.
Anyone have any good ideas for a story they want written? Let it out. I have to write a story about 6 – 10 pages long, and I’m flat dead on ideas. I wasn’t cut out for fiction, as I like to work with research and journalism. I am a freelance writer, so I don’t focus on this a whole lot.

the description of chatacters and setting. you dont have to give me like a full thing, just a few ideas to get me going! thankyou
it also says it doesnt have to be a narrative, but it can be a short story or scene centred on the conflic of the text you are writing.
What’s up guys, I’m freaking out about college essays and was wondering about the topic. I was thinking I could do my essay on Walden/thoreau’s philosophy and how that affected me. Would this even fit the topic and if it did does that even sound good? It’s not as boring on paper as it sounds here.
It’s for the schools that I’m majoring in english for so I thought I could do something in literature.
