Question: Why is the Bible referred to as “The Good Book”?
I mean…I’ve read plenty of other books that I thought were absolutely GREAT. The Bible doesn’t really rank that high on any list of good books.
Wouldn’t it be more appropriate to label it an “OK work of fiction”, at best???

O think it is because an accurate description of it would make it almost impossible to sell, even to the most gullible of the sheep.
Question: Why isn’t it called “Bad Friday” instead of “Good Friday?”?
Were Christians really that happy to get rid of that long haired rebel heretic in their myths that they named the day of the cruci fiction “Good” Friday?

Question: Does anyone know of a good book ABOUT the “golden age of science fiction”?
I’m really into sci-fi books from the golden age era, from authors like Vonnegut, Heinlein, Asimov, and Bradbury. Does anyone know of a good book that is just about this whole era in literature?
I’d love to learn more about it all. Thanks!

Question: Is This A Good Science Fair Project?
So last year my Science Fair project made it all the way up to the State Competition with the question “Do Younger Students Comprehend Better On Fiction Or Non-Fiction ?” . I just used two books (one fiction, one non) and read each, then backed it up with quizzes about each of the books. This year I really want to get to at least State again, it was SO much fun ! So my new project is going to go like this.. I’m going to write a short 3 page story about a random person, but not write the ending. I already know the ending though. Then get a bunch of different people from different generations and let them read the story and tell me what they think the outcome will be of the person’s life. Is this a good idea ? What should I title it ? And how can I make the project answer a question like my old one ? I’m in 8th this year btw.

Well, i like the idea, It shows how people from different generations view an outcome when it is not presented to them. Maybe you could call it “Foreshadowing From The Generations” or something like that? Not the best name but it is a great idea. It is a great thing to be interested in science, and I’ll be wishing you to State!
Question by plhorseluvR: What is a good way to start a “non-fiction” novel?
I went through an epiphany – if you will – the other day about what I want to do with my life and where I belong. I usually write stories about these little scoops that occur in my life, but I can’t find the right beginning for this one…I am just sort of writing about how I wanted to get out of where I lived, and lived my life in that small town I wanted to get out of, then suddenly opened my eyes and realized what I wanted to do, and that I belong where I am now…no other place…any ideas with how I could start it? Maybe an anecdote of how my childhood was? Or a question? Help, please!

wait is it a memoir or autobiography?
if it’s a memoir you can jump around and skip stuff, but in autobiography you’d ahve to go in order…..
maybe start off with your epiphany and the rest of the book tells how you got to it
