Question: Help? Im just coming out.?
I already posted this question but Im afraid I put it in the lesbian/gay/trans category (wrong category?) and someone might say “we’re not here for dating tips!” lol So I ask again:

Help? Im just coming out.?
Hi guys, Im a 19 year old girl, Im in college and I live at home (Im only saying this because it may help people better understand later on)
So I know I’ve been into girls since I was about 8….I never acknowledged it though (unless you count making out with other little girl friends and cousins…hah!). When I was 13 I asked my mom what she’d think if I was bi or lesbian and she said “GOD FORBID!” so I never brought it up again. Well I guess I should mention I come from a Middle Eastern background and this is not acceptable lol. But I am finally coming to peace with myself and accepting this other part of me, and I feel good about it. I have no shame (that felt so goodddd to write hah) I just know that I cant tell anyone in my family. Im just wondering how to get around this? Ive never been with a girl (Ive only kissed one) but Id like to start getting into the lesbian dating scene and honestly I have no idea how to begin. I dont want to go on dating sites because I know my cousins use them, and I just dont want to get in trouble. Also, my family knows people everywhere (Arabs are like that) and Im kind of paranoid but I just want to be myself and finally explore this part of my life. Anyone have some advice, please?
Jinji lol I do have a job but I feel obligated to help my parents with bills and such. I owe it to them and we are struggling a bit at the moment. But from my the responses in the other category I see that socializing would be a good idea (DUH haha) I just dont want to be seen yet, it makes me kind of nervous.

Question: Rare finger deformity, worth a look even if you don’t have any help.?
I’ve had this finger deformity on my index, middle and little finger of my right hand all of my life, as I was born with it. I’m a fluent typist, can still grip things well enough and am left handed so can write legibly – I’ve gotten used to it.

A picture tells a thousand words, so please look here:

http://img140.imageshack.us/img140/9126/handlg1.png

The normal sort of questions are “Does it hurt?” [no] and “Can you feel the tips?” [yes]. In terms of joints, the index and middle finger only really have two bones, but the index finger tip can bend slightly. The little finger is the closest to normal out of the three. The tip is very small and has a very small nail, but that’s about it.

I know I’ll never have full dexterity like another human being, but I just wondered if medical science could help me, say, stretch the bones? I’m 17 in a few weeks if that makes a difference. I wanted to get into medicine but I don’t know if this will cause problems or not.
If anyone can give me any idea of prices and/or age limits it’s be much appreciated.

If you have adapted and can use the hand then there should be nothing about it that prevents you from going into the medical sciences.
As for changing it, see a plastic surgeon.

Question: Need help with a comedy act?
Hey I’m writing a comedy act for school and am having trouble being funny :P Heres what I have so far.

I got my haircut the other day, and before I got it cut the hairdresser asked, “How do you want it cut?” I thought for awhile and said, “With scissors..” Have you ever noticed our parents always tell us, “Don’t talk to strangers!” But when we go to the hairdresser we’re grilled for information. I don’t know about any of you but my hairdressers are usually strangers. This one hairdresser I had, had the smallest head I’ve ever seen. Their head was so small I swear she probably used a tea-bag as a pillow. Now to me that makes her strange so I shouldn’t of talked to her.

Did you know inspite of this recession the percentage of people who eat out went up 10%? I like to eat out. I’m one of those people who enjoys food prepared by someone who can’t even spell soap let alone know how use it. I ate out the other night and I couldn’t help overhearing these 3 old ladies sitting at the table next to me. I heard the first one say, “It’s windy outside!” then I heard the second one say, “No it’s not it’s thursday.” Finally the last lady said, “So am I lets ask the waiter to bring us some water.” Apparently BLANK is more common these days. When my family was finished eating my dad started to take out money for the tip. Being nice I said “I’ll get it.” My dad looked back at the table and saw no money, only a napkin. So he asked me, “Where’s the money for the tip?” So I said, “What money? I left her a tip saying Don’t eat yellow snow.”

Also is there a condition/disease where you hear words differently or mishear what someone said?

Okay I need to write a 2400 word essay for my term research paper. MLA style. Here’s what I have to write about.. “your goal is to write a literary critical analysis: that is, your mission is to explain the literary side of your author by interpreting his or her works of fiction poetry or drama.” It says not to summarize their life and times but to use that information when analyzing. My dilemma is that with the amount of writing I have to do, how do I structure and outline what I’m going to write so that enough words are used?
