I’d like books that are related to teenagers, scifi/fiction and really I’m really up to giving any book a chance. Also, I am an AVID Twilight fan like anyone else in the world and world like to look into similiar books. I’m currently reading “The Host,” by Stephenie Meyer.
I’ve taught full-time as an English professor at a university–both literature and creative writing. I have a Ph.D. and have published fiction and essays. I want to get a way from the phoney-baloney world of academia. I know teaching in a private high school that has high standards might not be the solution, but I’d like to give it a try. How do I go about seeking jobs in this field?
college? Please include any websites that have reading lists. What classics are important, what fiction? what other? Thanks
I need to read a fiction novel of my choice in order to fulfill my summer reading requirement. I don’t know any good books at the moment, so could you suggest some? Listing books that are interesting and hard to be away from, but also showcase some deep and meaningful conflicts and ideas would be extremely helpful. Basically, I just want a good book that is both interesting, and school-worthy. I like any kind of book, so just throw them out there! Thank you!

I need to read an historical fiction book for school and I would really like it to be about the American Revolution. I am a good reader but I am not looking for a challenge, does anyone know an entertaining, easy to read, and short (around 200 pages) American Revolution book?
It can be Fiction or Nonfiction, as long as the setting is a real place and the time is in the past. The book has to be at least 300 pages long. If it’s a lot more pages than that, im fine. I’m a total bookworm.
