I read several books when I was a teenager (fiction) that I don’t know the author of but would like to find again. These books would be 25-30 years old. I realize there are so many books published out there that have been published by obscure and unknown publishers, but the books I’m looking for were checked out from my local public library. Does anyone know where I could start?
I have two top choices: Theater (for screenwriting) or Electronic Media and Broadcasting. I really want to write creatively (fiction), but I’m not so sure if the job market is exactly “booming” for that. My university’s most interesting minor in something technologically-based is the EMB minor which I know will have more job opportunities. What do you all think?
My first choice is to be an actress, but obviously I have to have a backup, and if I can’t act, I would love to edit books. You’d think I’d have to major in publishing, but it isn’t an option on a lot of lists of majors on scholarship websites. What else could I major in to become an editor of fiction books?
i ultimately want to write a book, but i love writing period. i am thinking of taking a major in writing(specializing in drama, fiction, creative non-fiction etc) and a minor in proffessional writing(journalism etc) and i was wondering if this will have any practicality. i want to write a book(fiction) but i will need a desk job to pay bills day to day, so is this path a practical one, that will be condusive to my goals, and my living requirements?
