Question: Are fiction and poetry two different genres?
This may be a stupid question, but are fiction and poetry two different genres? I’m putting together a collection of my short stories and poetry, and I wanted to listed the whole thing as my “fiction” as I also have a collection of non-fiction essays. If it includes poetry, should I give it a different indicator?

Yes, poetry is not included in the ‘umbrella’ category of fiction, which includes many genres (like mystery, romance, steampunk, etc.).

I havent received my book for my Literature class and I need to know the questions for “Experience,” “Interpretation,” “Evaluation,” and “Critical Thinking” behind three stories “Young Goodman Brown,” Hills Like White Elephants,” & “The Chrysanthemums”. Can anyone hlep a struggeling student?? 
For school, I am required to read a ‘genre list,’ which consists of one poetry book, one drama book, one non fiction, and one classic. I usually read fantasy like the Remnants, the Warriors, Tamora Pierce, and similar books, or romance. Anyone have good ideas for books that I’ll enjoy?
