To really benefit from article marketing, you need to submit lots of quality articles with targeted keywords to the article directories. This way the search engines will pick up your articles, and expose them to people who are looking for your keywords.

Article marketing is a numbers game. The more articles you submit, the bigger chance publishers will use them and bring visitors to your website.

Now, a problem that you may face when you want to write lots of articles is finding a unique article idea.

There are a few ways to get inspiration. You can do your research online by using Google, or other search engines, to find new topics that you can write about. But did you know that Amazon is also a great place to find topics for a new article?

Picture yourself, standing in a gigantic bookstore. Now imagine that you had all the books on the subject you were researching, open at the same time right in front of you. How would you like to be able to flick through all the books, and instantly find the pages with your subject’s keywords on them?

This is exactly what Amazon has done for you. They have created a brilliant tool that is perfect for researching content, called Search Inside.

It’s an article writer’s dream; laser-targeted pages of content that you can read, digest and rewrite, and best of all, delivered to your computer in seconds.

Here’s how to do it.

Log in to Amazon. In the search box at the top, select Books and enter your search term or keywords in the box beside it. It is like a Google search but only 100 times better.

Example: if you want to do research on vegetable gardening, enter the exact term in the search box.

A whole list with books that cover your niche will appear. When you click the Search Inside link on top of the book cover that interests you, you can peek inside the book.

When you open the book, the table of contents appears. You can take notes of the book contents, and use them later to create your new article. If you have an Amazon account, you can even read whole chapters of the book for free.

Another great way to use Amazon for your research is the option to see all the keywords that are being used to bring up the book. You can place these keywords strategically in your own article, to get the search engines happy, and attract more visitors.

Amazon is an incredible and free to use resource tool. You can use it to do unlimited searches on any topic that you can think of. All of the books listed are written by professional writers, who know what they write about.

Every time you need inspiration for an article, you can go back to Amazon. It’s a great and fun place to find unlimited article topics and ideas.

These song writing tips is a great way to ensure you come up with a huge amount of quality songs! You’ll find following these methods will yield a huge amount of ideas and more completed songs than ever before. The most important thing to remember here is that you must completely ignore your inner critic, do not under any circumstances think to yourself “Hmmm, this idea is no good” no matter how you feel about it, keep writing and moving forward.

Perhaps the most important thing to keep in mind as a songwriter is to not let your inner critic paralyze your creativity. The moment you have a negative thought, banish it to the back of your mind and just keep writing and pushing on! This method is all about generating as many ideas as you can, quality control comes later.

TECHNIQUE ONE: Create a chord sequence or riff on your instrument of choice, either loop it on your computer or just play it over and over while improvising lyrics and melodies over the top. Your aim here is to come up with as many ideas for your melody as you possibly can, don’t worry about whether your lyrics make sense or not, you can redraft those later. I usually don’t stop until I’ve come up with at least 10 or more ideas.

TECHNIQUE TWO: Find a drum or percussion loop and write as many different songs as you can over the top of it. Vary your chords and riffs and really try to make each attempt different to the last.  Again I aim for 10 as a minimum

The best song writing method to follow is to aim to create as many ideas as you can. Once you’ve finished your song writing session, give it a day or two then go back to your ideas to edit them. Chances are you’ll end up with a few finished songs straight away, the rest of your ideas you can refer to later. You’ll find songs you write in the future will heavily feature ideas you came up with months or even years before!

When asked for article writing tips, you will surely get a variety of answers. One tip is not more important than the other.

In no particular order, here are my 10 tips that will help you with your writing so you can create the best article each and every time.

1. Gather ideas for your topics. Doing a brain dump is good. Just write ideas as they come to mind. You can sort it out by putting them into categories and subcategories; deleting duplicates and so on.

If sitting in your home office is stunting your creative juices, move to another location. Going for a walk outside clears a clogged mind, but at the same time old stuff is filtered out and new ideas are filtered in. Don’t forget to bring something to help you remember your new ideas.

2. Working with an outline will help you stay focused and on the topic. You want to write with clarity and with substance. Don’t get too wordy. Get to the point.

3. Research your topic if necessary. Providing misinformation is poor, unprofessional and you lose believability and credibility.

4. Write with a solution in mind. The reason you write is to inform and to help answer your target audience’s questions.

5. Connect with your audience. People want to hear your voice. Don’t be someone you’re not. You get more respect if you are yourself and you are genuine. One of my favourite quotes comes from John Mason “You were born an original. Don’t die a copy.”

6. Have a beginning, middle and end. Grab your readers’ attention with a mind blowing intro. Okay not mind blowing, but something that will entice them to read and not skim through.

The body is where all the juicy information is and the conclusion nicely sums up the message of the article.

7. Proofread, proofread, proofread. And then proofread again out loud. Get another pair of eyes and have them read through your article with a fine tooth comb. Microsoft Word spell checker doesn’t detect correctly spelled words used incorrectly in a sentence. Read your apostrophes fully to see if it’s (it is) right.

8. Don’t be a perfectionist. It’s okay to fine tune just don’t over tweak, over think and over analyze. The more you edit, the more you lose the core of the article.

9. Write regularly, but not forced or rushed. The latter produces substandard articles.

10. Always have a thesaurus and dictionary close by and use it.

Each time you pick up a pen or start typing in Word, follow these article writing tips to ensure you always create the best quality writing masterpieces.
