Submitting your quality written, and keyword rich articles is certainly your first step to achieving your personal or business related goals. However, many authors wonder why their articles are not being picked up by publishers and webmasters to be placed on their theme related websites, and if you’re willing to follow a few simple steps, you will be on your way to having a successful article writing campaign that will appeal to publishers, webmasters, and also your online readers.

The truth of the matter is, that many publishers and webmasters are looking for fresh, well-crafted content to place on their site that offers their readers valuable information and tips, but they don’t like to accept articles for their sites that show obvious signs of self-promotion of your own business, products, or services. Selling your business in your article is just going to drive people away, and they will move on to the next article that will help them answer the questions they’re seeking.

Tip #1: When readers search for a specific topic of interest, they’re searching for information that answers specific questions they may have at the time. If you’re not exactly sure how to format your article to flow with all the necessary information, just remember that when you start writing your articles, consider formatting your articles with the focus on the WHO, WHAT, WHERE, WHEN, and WHY. When you start to develop your articles in this format, you will definitely make it easier to write your articles on specific topics that will flow naturally.

Tip #2: If you’re writing about a specific topic that can help your readers, provide a brief introduction of what you’re about to talk about. This way if the reader is interested in what you have to say, they will know what direction you’re going in on your specific topic. In the body of your articles, have the key information that your topic is talking about with many features followed by the benefits.

The best way to achieve this is to talk first about the feature of your topic, product, or services briefly, and then follow right below your feature, a detailed benefit (make sure you focus and write more on the benefit). At the bottom of you article, always end it with a brief conclusion. Never stop writing without having an ending. Readers will be wondering if they received the entire article, or if you’re missing some information. Remember, most if not everyone likes an ending.

Tip #3: In the body of your article, make emphasis on your features and benefits that you’re talking about by adding “bullets” and also “highlighting” the important features and benefits. This does several things to your article, it allows your readers to quickly find the important information in your article, and if they happen to not want to read the entire article from top to bottom, they may opt to go directly to the information that they want, and you make it much easier for them to find it with bulleting, and highlights!

Tip #4: If possible, when writing about a unique topic, you will add more impact and credibility to your content when you offer your readers important resources to back up your claim. You can provide a few legitimate testimonials, a list of awards that were achieved, or anything else you feel will back up what you’re talking about. This is a great way to provide your readers solid proof you’re the authority on this topic, and you have value for them to obtain from your information.

Tip #5: The biggest mistake many new authors make when writing their articles for ezine directories to be picked up for distribution is creating a really weak “Author Bio”! You spend all your time and effort creating the perfect article to be submitted to the ezine directories, and many ezine publishers and webmasters start picking up your article and adding them to their emails and sites. However, if your author bio at the end of your article doesn’t have impact, it will not motivate the reader to click through to either read more, or get additional information on what you are truly offering.

Make sure you spend as much time in creating the best author bio as you do when you start writing your article. Make sure that you let your readers know who you are, and that you are the expert on this topic, and if you’re talking about several products or services, in your author bio, if you’re allowed a maximum of 3 hyperlinks to your site, blog, or email, also make sure that you take advantage of this option, and add your maximum allowable links for your readers to click through and continue their journey to specific information they’re interested in reading.

These tips are only a guideline to your article writing success, and if you take some of the information I provide and use it that best fits your writing style, I feel that you will be on your way to being a great Web Author, and many of your well written articles will be picked up by publishers and webmasters hungry for freshly written content that offers a quality message to their readers.

Are you setting up a non-profit organization? Don’t ignore the specific, technical steps you must take to set up a new non profit organization. Although they will vary depending on your location, here are some guidelines for American non profit organizations.

501-c-3 or Fiscal Sponsorship?

Most independent non profits are incorporated under the IRS 501-c-3 code which allows organizations serving a public social need to operate on a tax-exempt basis and to receive tax deductible donations and grants to fund their operations. The 501-c-3 application, although costing under $1,000 to process, can be a bit daunting.

To get up and running quickly, many non profits begin as fiscally sponsored projects operating under the umbrella of a 501-c-3 fiscal sponsor with the stated purpose of serving the public through organizations like yours. The fiscal sponsor will let you collect tax exempt donations by taking a processing fee, often a percentage of the funding dollars raised. They will also offer a shorter application process and administrative support for your organization as it gets up and running. With this start up support, you will be in a better position to apply for your own 501-c-3 status at a later date.

Board of Directors

The appointed board of directors have the authority and responsibility to run the non profit, usually by selecting and advising the non profit’s executive director. As they can be held legally liable for the activities of the non profit, it is in their best interest to run the organization safely and legally to avoid risk. Some states require only a minimum of one director, who can be the executive director of the organization, while others require at least three. In any event, building a devoted and responsible board over time can insure that the fundraising and management capacity of your non profit continues to develop.

Corporate Bylaws

Most non profits are required to create official bylaws. This document details the rules that govern your organization at the board level, such as how meetings are run and how decisions are made. There is no need to create this kind of document from scratch, as templates are readily available and generally refer to the famous Robert’s Rules of Order as the method for running meetings.

If I could give you one key, all important, tops above all tip for article marketing, here it is.  Now I know you are wondering what it is and you want to know, right now, right this second.  But, if you want to find out you will have to read the article.  I promise if you finish the article you will agree with me what the greatest tip is!

I love stories and want to tell you one about an article marketer and his wife.

A very successful article marketer was married to a vivacious blonde wife.  They lived on a ranch and the marketer’s business was in trouble.  So, in order to keep the bank from repossessing the ranch, they needed to purchase a bull so that they could breed their own stock.

The husband tells his wife, ‘When I find a bull and decide to buy it, I will contact you to drive out after me and we will haul it home.’

The marketer arrives at a bull owners ranch with $600, inspects the bull, and decides he wants to buy it. The owner tells him that he will sell it for $599, not a penny less.

After paying him, he drives to the nearest town to send his wife a telegram to tell her the news.

He walks into the telegraph office, and says, ‘I want to send a telegram to my wife to tell her that I’ve bought a bull for our ranch. I need her to hitch the trailer to our pickup truck and drive out here so we can haul it home.’

The telegraph operator explains that he’ll be glad to help him, but ‘it will cost 99 cents a word.’ Hmm, sighs the husband and realized he can only send one word.

After a few minutes of thinking, he nods and says, ‘I want you to send her the word ‘comfortable.’

The operator shakes his head. ‘How is she ever going to know that you want her to hitch the trailer to your pickup truck and drive out here to haul that bull back to your ranch if you send her just the word ‘comfortable?’

The husband explains, ‘My wife’s blonde. The word is big. She’ll read it very slowly… ‘com-for-da-bul’.

If you haven’t figured it out by reading the article, then I will give you one last chance.  The one most important, all encompassing, tops above all tip to article marketing is have fun and be funny.  Life is too short to take it and your business internet money online opportunity too seriously!

There is a path to fiction writing success that is quick and sure, even obvious. It’s a path that’s simple to explain. In fact, I’m going to explain it in this short article. And when I’m finished, most of you who read this will nod and say to yourselves, “I knew that.” Then you’ll move on without giving it another thought. And you won’t do it.

And that will be a shame.

As with any profession, writing good fiction requires a learning curve. It begins with the very basics – the rules of proper grammar. From there, you’ll want to learn all the aspects of storytelling. These can include everything from setting to character development, from dialogue to plot, and more. And when you become comfortable in your knowledge of storytelling, you’ll want to learn about the business end of writing … how to build your career, working with agents, what all those contract clauses mean, etc. Learning will be a life-long journey.

But if you learn all of the above, inside and out, even become an expert at it, it won’t mean a thing toward writing successful fiction unless you do one more thing.

You know what it is, don’t you?

Yes.

You have to write, and you have to write everyday.

It doesn’t matter how knowledgeable or how talented you are. If you don’t write regularly you’ll never be successful. Having edited a newsletter, a small press magazine, and several anthologies, I can tell you from experience, it’s not the most talented writers who succeed. It’s the most persistent writers. The writers who work on their craft with a passion. Who pour their souls into their work.

And it’s not how much time you have, it’s the routine that matters. Writing success comes from placing your butt in the chair and putting words down on a piece of paper or your computer screen on a daily basis. It doesn’t matter if you only have fifteen minutes a day, as long as you fill that time writing.

The best way to do this is to make an appointment with yourself, set a specific time everyday that’s reserved for nothing but writing. It might be the first thing in the morning before the rest of the family wakes up. It might be during your lunch hour, or late at night after everyone else is in bed. It doesn’t matter, as long as it’s the same time everyday, and the only thing that happens is that you write.

By the way, researching isn’t writing. Plotting isn’t writing. Developing a character isn’t writing. Those are all important aspect of developing good stories, and they need to be done, but they are not writing. Don’t let them get in the way. It’s easy to get caught up in all the details of your story without ever actually putting a word on paper.

So there you have it.

The quickest, surest path to fiction writing success.

Write everyday.

Sounds easy, doesn’t it?

And you already knew it, didn’t you?

So now the question is this: what are you going to do about it?

David B. Silva is the author of numerous short stories and novels. Currently, he serves as the webmaster for The Successful Writer, a website designed to provide writing information and resources for new and upcoming writers.

Virtually every job you apply for in the modern world will require you to send in your resume, and often the quality of that resume is the determining factor in whether you succeed or fail. As so many resumes are just run of the mill efforts with very little thought or preparation, it doesn’t take that much to stand out from the crowd. These resume writing tips will give you a head start!

Resume Writing Tip 1- Make sure you have a plan. Do your research and be sure exactly what the job requirements are. Produce your resume so that it is tailored to that individual job, and shows why you are the right person, as what you have matches what they are looking for.

Resume Writing Tip 2- Have a definite goal in mind. The more you can define exactly what it is you want in applying for the role, the more clear and concise your resume will be. Just saying that you are trying to get more money is not what the employer wants to read, so you need to say something like “further your experience in a well known successful organisation”

Resume Writing Tip 3- Try to inject some force into your writing. As so many people have been taught to write routine resumes in school, yours can stand out if you take the time to be a little bit different. With every sentence that you write, you should ask “Is that how everyone will word it?” Use different words and phrases if you feel that you are just going to be too much like all the rest. Use your writing to try and sell yourself. You can make quite a large impact, just with some very small changes.

Resume Writing Tip 4- Sell the benefits of the skills you have, don’t just list the skills. Salesmanship is all about getting over to the prospect the benefits of the features of the product, not about just listing the features. With you resume, for example, if you had the skill of being a good sales closer, “Excellent sales closer” could become “Proven closing ability, over $150,000 worth of business written in the past year alone” or something like that. This is going to make a much bigger impact on your potential employer.

Resume Writing Tip 5- Try to make use of figures. Firstly, numbers do tend to look prominent on a page filled with text and words. A resume with figures on the page will be easier on the eye. Secondly, if you include numeric data in your resume, people will be more inclined to take what you are writing about at face value. Instead of “Managed my own team of people” you could write “Managed 25 up and coming trainees…” or something like this. Giving the recruiter a visual image of you that they can relate to is always a good idea

These resume writing tips should have shown you that making a resume that stands out can be a lot easier than some would have you believe, you just need to learn the ropes and do some original thinking!

What makes one personâ??s articles great to read?  How can you make your articles more compelling?  Here are some tips for article marketing that I have learned from many of the most successful article writers.  These tips for article marketing are themes you will find in most every successful article you read.

Imagine how you would feel if your articles were written for you?  Here are five tips to write better articles for your business internet money online opportunity article marketing.

1. Know your target audience and write for them.  Whatever you are writing about has to be done with the reader foremost in mind.  The article is not about you but for them and you must write for your audience.  Imagine you are the reader and make the article interesting from their perspective.

2. Write as though you know the readerâ??s heart and emotions.  The more you can connect with the readerâ??s pain, problem or predicament the more you will be able to make them feel the article is for them.

3. Make the reader feel involved in your article.  When you do this, the reader will understand that it is written for them not at them.  This vital tip will help the reader imagine what you are trying to say.  Once you have them involved, provide them a solution and they will be grateful.

4.  Write statements that will help the reader trust you.  Talk to the reader as an intelligent, responsible caring person reading your article to gain something from the experience.  Do not waste their time.  You probably have heard many times never to talk down to someone but to them.

Apply these writing tips for article marketing.  I guarantee you will see your articles being read and appreciated more than ever and your business internet money online opportunity will benefit.

If you are a website owner then you will no doubt have read about the importance of writing articles to get the word out about your site and to use as content on your site. One of the reasons for this is that articles are a great way to build credibility and trust. To do that, you will need to put considerable effort into creating your articles, especially in the beginning if writing doesn’t come naturally to you. Follow these article writing tips and you’ll be off to a great start:

1. Develop a plan and imagine objectives & potential outcomes.
There is nothing worse than not knowing what you want to get out of writing your article. Do you want to be considered an expert in your field? Do you want to be thought of as innovative? Do you want to be controversial? Before you actually say or write anything, work out your pitch.

2. You need a framework for your article
A standard way to layout an article is with an opening paragraph which sets out what the article is going to be about. Then comes the main bulk of the article – usually several paragraphs that cover the topic in depth, followed by a closing paragraph which needs to pull the different points together into a natural conclusion.

3. Length is Important
Don’t feel that you have to tell your reader everything you know about a subject in one article. The ideal article length is around 400 words. It is better to focus on one aspect of a particular topic and cover it well than try to cram too much information in.

4. Be Professional
Keep the content of your article professional and don’t make personal comments about others or use an article solely to pitch your products or website. You need to offer information of value to the reader to make them want to read your article.

5. Use specific details where possible.
For your article and views to be considered valid you need to explain exactly what you mean. For example, if you are writing a product review then say exactly what you liked and disliked about a product and wether those particular aspects are important or not. If you are providing tips then use examples to illustrate your points.

6. Keep the personal stories short. It’s not about you!
Keep your own stories to a minimum and use them only where they illustrate a point that you are trying to make, but not as the focus of the article.

7. Practice Practice Practice
If writing articles isn’t something that comes easily to you then you’ll want to take your time to develop a voice for writing, a style that feels comfortable to you but that also gets across to the reader what it is you want to say. It is a good idea when article writing to do a first draft and then put it aside for a day or two and then go back to it and re-read it to see how it flows.

Regardless of whether you are writing articles to promote your site or web writing for content if you want your reader to take action then you need to provide information that is useful, informative and engaging. Don’t worry if this seems difficult in the beginning. With a bit of practice you’ll soon be churning out articles in less time than you thought possible.

From her years of experience online Jill Brennan has put together a free ebook on article writing called “Kickstart Your Article Writing: 9 Ways to Breakout of An Article Writing Stalemate”. Its full of practical article writing tips and free tools. Go here: http://www.howtosubmitarticles.com/article_writing/ to get your copy today.
