Question: What is the moral of Will Ferrell’s movie, Stranger Than Fiction?
I saw the movie, Stranger than Fiction (2006) starring Will Ferrell and I loved that movie a lot. I want to know what the moral/message of the movie is. Is it, “What is written in a book, happens in real life?” Or is it, as Mark Twain said, “Truth is stranger than fiction”. Or maybe is it, “Never be afraid to try new things” because in the movie, Harold Crick is an IRS agent that lives a dull life and is dominated by his wristwatch. Can anyone tell me the moral of Stranger Than Fiction?

The baker was a woman, who ran a rather small bakery, and she lived upstairs i believe. When Will firsts arrives, her customers are displeased with him, she takes him upstairs so he can look through all her legal documents, though they’re in a big mess. Later, she bakes him cookies, but he refuses to eat them, stating that he should have to purchase them. A day or so later, he wants to give her a gift (i think it was some kind of canned/pickled good), she mimics him, saying that she should have to purchase him, but she eventually accepts them.
Thats about all I remeber. It wasn’t a generic Will Ferel movie, where he’s shouting all the time and acting like a moron haha.

Question: Should Emma Thompson have killed Will Ferrell in “Stranger than Fiction”?
As a writer, I’m pretty upset that she didn’t go for the best possible book she could have written. As a fan of living (it beats the alternative), I guess it’s better for someone to live than die. As an extreme non-fan of most Will Ferrell movies, I was pleasantly surprised by this one.
