Question: I believe the word “religion” was created on false grounds and should be stricken from the language and world?
Consider the following before answering:
In my views, i have concluded the word religion to be an illusion, to be irrelevant, something like using the word Abrakadabra, it has absolutely no meaning in reality.
As far as i’m concerned, unless anyone proves my point wrong, there exists simply Truth and Untruth, but not the word religion, religion has nothing to do with Truth or Untruth, for the following reasons:
If a tree is made of wood, which it is, then it is Truth, and if we “believe” that tree is wood, then it does not become a religion because we “believe” it is, it is simply something we believe that happens to be Truth rather than Untruth.
If you take a fake God, and a real God, and one person to believe in each, then the one who believes in the real God does not have a religion, it is simply “believing” in something that is Truth.
The one who believes in the fake God that does not exist, has no religion as well, it is simply he/she believing in Untruth rather than Truth.
Just as believing a tree is made of rock, you are believing Untruth, but it is not religion.
Just as believing a tree is made of wood, you are believing in Truth, but it is not a religion.
versus
Just as believing a God that is real, exists, you are not believing in religion, but are believing in Truth.
Just as believing a God that doesnt exist, does exist, you are not believing in religion, but are believing in Untruth.
Now God being real or not is 100% irrelevant to this question for the most part. This question is not saying either is Truth, but i am simply bringing up the reason i think the word “religion”, in every language of the world, should be stricken from the entire planets vocabulary, because the word “religion” is an illusion. And what we believe in is never religion, but rather simply Truth or Untruth.
A Koran or a Bible or ANY other book in the entire world, is not about religion, nor is religious, nor relates to the word religion, because the word has absolutely no grounds in reality, but is set-in-stone in illusion, in Unreality. Regardless of God existing or not existing, the word religion has no weight behind it. Basically the word itself is Untruth. Any book of the world does not contain anything “religious”, it simply contains Truth or Untruth, or both. Just as an almanac or a phonebook, or a childrens book contains Truth or Untruth. Now what we call “fiction” is irrelevant, because we can stimulate our mind for ENTERTAINMENT reading a fantasy book. But as for the word religion, it does not correlate with the word fiction. It is completely different. A fiction book either contains Truth or Untruth, or both.
Basically the word “fiction” may also be stricken from the worlds languages and vocabulary. We might as well call a childrens book, an “Untruth Book”, a “Truth Book, or a “Both Book”. At least this way when someone goes to the book store, he/she may simply read the cover and know if it’s truth or untruth, if they purchase it after reading that it only contains Untruth, it is the assumption that they are then simply reading for entertainment, then the word fiction may be stricken just as the word religion.
Then after all is said and done, if you want to buy a book, you still have to use your own personal information to decide whether or not the title of a book saying “Truth”, or “Untruth”, is Truth or Untruth. We don’t want to buy a book called “Truth” when the creator was being Untruthfull, when they put it as so.
What are your “reviews” or “feedback” or whatever you want to call it, (truth/untruth) statements, about this topic and points provided?
Funky Bird, if you don’t have a relevant answer, that means whenever YOU decide to use the word yourself, you are using a fantasy word that means absolutely nothing, meaning it comes with Ignorant being a package deal.
Based on all of your answers, we may now believe that the belief of tree’s being made of wood now constitutes as a religion.
Avacado, you coming here to write that, is like coming here to tell me you like to eat pickles, who cares what you care about.
Joel, at least your answer relates, and brings up a point, rather then all these other useless people.
Anonymous, based on simple logic we can assume that if there are 2 words for the same meaning, one can be discarded from ever being used. Meaning if people always use both of the words in the same sentece, also logically the 2 words have seperate meanings and are not exactly the same. Meaning your entire answer is useless mostly for the fact you have no “information” to back up what you’ve just stated.

Good luck with getting ANY word that widely-used struck from the lexicon. If you don’t want to use it, then don’t.

Now I know there’s a name for a condition or a person who can almost sense and feel others emotions. Like you can tell when they’re upset just by being around them. It’s not like empathy or some science fiction sixth sense. But like a really psychological term.
I am in the process of doing some writing for enjoyment. I have heard that the “average” fiction book contains 25k – 50k words and the “average” non-fiction book has around 20k words. Is that correct?
As a novice, what I’m wondering is how do they count the words? Do they include spaces between the words.
Thanks for any input.
