  • Royal Horse:

Science fiction is modern and involves things that are usually a cration of man, like robots, etc

Fantasy does not necessarily include anything human ceated. It includes something that we can imagine

  • Velvet White, gleeful as spring:

I used to work in a book store and a fellow there once explained how to quickly know the difference between science fiction and fantasy. He said, “If dragons can fly, it is fantasy. If they can’t, it’s sci-fi.”

  • shai guy:

nerds like both, and women like one, but not the other, that’s the best way I can say wether it’s scifi or fantasy.

if this is for your segment 2 exam in english 4 heres the answer i passed with:
Fantasy is a highly imaginative writing that contains elements not found in real life. For example, Harry Potter is Fantasy because Wizards, wands, and such do not exist in the real world.

Science Fiction and Fantasy are closely related.

But, Science Fiction combines the elements of fiction and fantasy with scientific fact. So, Things in Science Fiction are Fact.

And in Fantasy, things are made up.

  • yogeshwargarg:

Science fiction consists of stories in books, comics and films with science as the central theme, about events that may take place in the future or in other parts of the universe.
You can refer to a book, film or comics that someone creates from their imagination and that is not based on reality as ‘fantasy’.Here the theme could be on any subject
